Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
ConnecTD isn't just another networking platform-it's a movement to rewrite the way South Africans connect to work and services. We help people find trusted professionals, new career opportunities, and reliable solutions right in their community. Our goal is simple: make it easier for you to say, 'I Know A Guy'- and a build a future where opportunities aren't locked behind who you know, but open to everyone who deserves a chance.
Meet The Team
Mulweli Edward Maphiri
Co-Founder & COO
The company was born out of more than just ambition- it was born out of purpose. Everywhere I looked I saw people with incredible talent, determination, and potential. Too many people carry 100% potential, but are handed 0 opportunities, people who could change their communities if only they were given a fair chance, but far too often those opportunities never come. That is what inspired me to act. I didn't want to wait for change, I wanted to create it, together with my partner we decided to build a company that opens doors where they've always been closed. A company that invests in possibility, uplifts people, and redefines what opportunity means in South Africa.
Dumisani Shirinda
Co-Founder & CEO
I know what it feels like to be hungry for success but stuck with no way forward. Growing up in South Africa, I saw how hard it was for talented, hardworking people to find opportunities- and I've lived it myself. The frustration of endless job searches, the weight of family responsibilities, and the feeling of being overlooked lit a fire in me. We started ConnecTD to break that cycle- to help people not just survive, but thrive. This isn't just a business to me. It's a movement to create change, one connection at a time.
Vision
To create a platform where hardwork meets possibility, to prove that people with 100% potential deserve more than 0 opportunities. We want to rewrite the story of what is possible in this country.
Mission
ConnecTD connects people to trusted jobs, services and professionals through a seamless platform that empowers communities and drives growth.
